I began my career in Gaffney, SC where I grew up. I met my husband, Mike in Spartanburg and we started a family. I drove from Spartanburg to Gaffney for  five years and I decided that I needed to spend less time driving back and forth on 85!

 

I am currently certified in Early Childhood Education, but I am enrolled in graduate school to obtain my degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Literacy. I have been teaching for seven years and have taught 5 year old kindergarten, first, and second grades. This is my second year teaching at West View Elementary and I love the faculty, staff, and families at WVES! I consider it a privilege to work for District 6! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us!

Mike and I have three beautiful little girls. There names are Addison (7), Emmalyn (2), and Mackenzie (7 months). Mike is very supportive and loves my determination to reach every child that enters in my classroom.
